Virat Kohli : Love, Admiration and Devotion.

No platform is suffice to tell how I feel about you. No words can describe the emotions that every fan of you has on you. Nothing can measure what you are to our fans. With enough knowledge on this sport I believe I can speak my feelings and for all your fans as well.

FAN NOTE :
I was in my early teens I still remember, cricket was by then a part of my life for a long time. Yet India was never known for chasing targets 300+ quite easily until Hobart happened. Prior to that, you had your fair share of success but its that innings where you took my attention. We can have a separate blog for that particular innings alone, such a masterpiece it was. You were world's 2nd best batsman in ODI's at 22 and needless to say where the 22s of any country are today. Just when everyone thought this year will be the best of Virat's career you gave them a better next year and it kept on growing just like my admiration for you. It's such an adrenaline rush for me everytime I see you on screen, be it on or off the field.
From admiring your finishes on ground to standing with you at difficult times, I can say I grew up too. Ups and downs are a part of life and no sport is an exemption. I understood that you have a life outside the ropes and only then I loved you even more for such a wonderful human being you are. You are a better husband and father than a batsman. People talk, have opinions and not everyone can see through your eyes and thats okay!!

I still remember the times when I refused to eat just because you didn't play well and today I smile even after a loss. I believe this is my growth as an individual, accepting things happening around me, understanding the game and life and celebrating every minute of your presence while it lasts. I've seen Sachin retire, I've seen Dravid, Sehwag and many other players retire. Probably I was a bit young to understand the emotions then. But when MS retired, I understood the pain, I knew the emotions and only then it hit me hard realising that one day you'll be in that position. I've no regrets with your career as a fan, I know that you have given me more than 70 reasons to be happy for.
You are 33 now, and I know there is nothing you haven't seen or experienced already. So I wish you all the health and happiness that you need. You are a family man and I want you to have a wonderful family time too, I'm not greedy anymore to want to see you play every game. You have given all your fans a lifetime memories already and we are more than happy for that.
I haven't seen Michael Jordan play in 90s but I know that you are as good as he was in 2010s. You are and will always be my inspiration. Happy Happy Birthday Virat ❤️🧿.
